Just wondering what would happen if i plugged my rsd's into my home theatre without an extra amp besides the home receiver

they will play, but a few things to consider

-are they getting a lowpass signal? or full range?

-most home receivers don't like to be driven at lower the 4 ohms

I would buy a lowpass crossover. it will sound better than just running it full range.

Does your receiver have a built in cross over?

I run subs all the time in my house but ofcourse they are ran off fo a PG map and a huge power supply

Hold on, are we talking components or subs here? Subs you need lowpass, midranges need highpass.

Turn the sub(s) around to face into the wall leaving a few inches. This will help take a little of the highs out, not a huge diff, but noticeable...
