Hi guys been a long time stalker on here but here's my first post and hope you can help.Have any of you ever used the Infinity Emit tweeters as part of your front end.I am not only talking about the old car audio ones but also the domestic ones.Information over here in 'blighty' is scarce so I dont even know if they were the same type in both applications, although the domestic ones I have seen have had a nominal impedence of 3 ohms.I am mainly interested in the frequency response on and off axis. Also if anyone has had experience of the Emin mid range would be a help.
Cheers guys
Paul

Welcome to the phorum!

I had some ages ago, probably close to 12 years now. The tweets sound really good IMO. I love the sound of electrostatic drivers though, so I may be biased.

I will have to get a listen of yours Mark before you sell it,should have brought it to T16 although the petrol costs from yours to the meet would have been off putting  I think I might try a pair of the domestic ones

emits like to be crossed over no less than 4K and don't like clipped signals so lots of clean power is needed, you have ms amps so your ok, i don't have a pic of mine but they are from the cs1 set so emit n's.
