hey guys i have a question, i amrunning 2 sld44s, my h/u has front, rear and sub out, then i have a bass cube, then i have a ti 500.4, ti 600.2(font and rear mids/highs), and then 2 rsd 1200.1s for 2 seperate chamber subs- my question is this, is one remote relay enough? or should i have a second, and if so, how would i wire that in?? btw, i have a red top for stock battery, then 2 gel batteries in the rear , one is for the two ti amps, and the other for the 2 rsd amps? thanks for any help/inquiries

Sounds like you need a DD5/DD10. It will make wiring a breeze!

Deal, I use one remote from the front, and wire everything in series... I do the processors first, then (at least on the older ones) they have a delay remote, I run that to the amps, and run all the amps in series... This way the amps power up last (1-2 second delay), and the processors turn the amps on. If there is a problem with the processors power or remote, the amps don't turn on.

Just the way I've always done it, those distribution block remote things are neat, I've just never had a place to put it, or a need for it. It's all about keeping the wiring straight in your head, just do a nice design on paper, and hook up one component at a time.

the dd5 and tidd10 are AWESOME piece of equipment...but hard to come by lately.

if you can't locate one (or dont want to drop the $$$) you can still use old fashon relays from radio shack

you run your remote turn on to the relay, and a 12v+ through it.

it wont be as clean or cool. but you will have a electronically stable set up for about $20 in radio shack parts.

exactly, that's how my dad's system is setup after his Powercore... one relay for each amp

One relay (total) is enough. Or 2 if you want to run some of the equipment on a separate delay circuit. Turn-on leads don't draw that much current. Maybe too much for a single head unit output but once you throw a relay in the mix, all the current is coming from the car and there's plenty of juice to turn on all your equipment.
