I saw this a few days ago, as did someone else in the interest forum.

I have been talking to the owner about the amp, but he doesn't have the box, or any clue they made aluminum versions. The color is WAY different from the 4 channel, and he gave me this for the serial #...
0597******0007

Does that mean anything either way? I'd really like to have an AL, but since he doesn't have the box, how do you figure it out? :?

90% sure it's AL just by looking at it...

But... an AL is waay lighter, like 11lbs or so. But the easiest trick is to try to stick a magnet to it. Steel will stick, aluminum will not ;)

Magnet does not stick... I didn't want to give you the full Serial number... thats why I gave you the first 4 digits and last 4 digits. The manufacture date is DMY 22/9/2003.

This was from the guy with the amps. It looks like it is in deed an AL! If anyone wants to bid on an AL, he will not seperate, so you have to buy both amps. :?
