My story...

Here is my story. I purchased a used ZX-450 for $200 shipped directly to PG, where I had them go through the amp (good idea, they made a small repair). PG was also supposed to replace the cover on my white ZX for a mere $40 as the one I purchased has some scratches. Well, they called me and told me they made a mistake and had no more white ZX-450 covers. I asked them if they had a black, as I would rather have a black/white hybrid than a scratched all white amp. Well, I recieved the amp today and low and behold, Phil and the boys not only replace my cover with a new black one, they put my amp guts in a complete new chassis without charging me a dime or even telling me they were doing it! TALK ABOUT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I never thought it was possible for my dedication and loyalty to PG amps could ever be strengthened, but it was! Thank you soooo much Phil, you have no idea how much this is appreciated. Here are a few pics, I am deciding what my final install is going to consist of and I will share pics as it progresses....

that fuckin rules- phil is the MAN!!! he has sent me , count them now, 3 replacement sets of ti tweets, last set i asked him to look at closely, as im only running 250 rms to them, i wanted to make sure that the xover was nt causing the issues, however , after he said he disected them, the vcs were not burnt!!!! NOT BURNT, so he tossed another set in a package for me and voila they were mailed on monday and i received them inflorida today, with some sweet stickers!!!!!!

Found it on ebay, brand new, $72 to my door! SWEET!! The stinger ground block was not included (nor the line driver), but still, I snagged a great deal on that kit!

That PG battery terminal is awesome! I have both that kit and the matching ground block and they are built like tanks and look great too.

It's really a pity they don't include the ground terminal, a chunk of ground wire, and a grounding block so people can at least ground their battery properly. It would really set that kit apart for me. I guess nobody offers that though... pity.

He mentioned block and terminal separately. Isn't that little cube like thing supposed to be your battery ground block (not terminal!)?

Ahh! I used it to ground my battery because I have a ground distro block. That solves that.

The cube attaches to the frame or wherever, then you run the 3' 1/0 ground wire to a dist block...

Yeah, I have a normal 1/0 ring terminal for that because I have it bolted down somewhere that the cube wouldn't fit. I was just a bit confused.

Do they even make these kits anymore? If so, what do they sell for?

they do sell them, but are getting harder to find. prices go from about 70-100. i think MAP is like 120 on them. i have seen them on Amazon.com, but be careful some sellers use the picture and description, but have a different part number listed. i just went through that head ache with a clown that thought sending me a $78 8awg kit was normal. i did finally get my money back though
