sa1.4x possible channels bleading issue?

Post by AaronK »

Hi all, Great forum! PG has been candy to me since 1994. I have recently acquired a sa1.4x and I am only going to use 2 channels from it.

When I hook up the RCA to the front input the amp puts audio out to all four channels

When I hook up the RCA to the Rear audio only comes out to the rear 2 channels.

any ideas?

PS I took some ampguts pics of the sa1.4x since you didn't have any. Where do I send them?

If I'm not mistaken, this is the way the amp was designed to operate. All 4 channels will output with only 2 channels of input. when channels 3 & 4 are added, the amp switches and will then accept all 4 inputs and allow you to fade.
