WHICH COLOUR WIRE IS POSITIVE ON THE TWEETER !!

Just purchased PG RSD Components and nowhere does it state which colour RED or BLACK is the + Positive wire for the tweeter, nor is it marked on anything.

Can anyone help, as all the documentation says is 'make sure you wire the tweeter with the correct polarity'

I'm assuming red is positive but would like confirmation.

This maybe a stupid post but the black wire isn't entirely black, its kinda red with a black stripe.

Better safe than sorry!
You're right asking; too many people ruin their stuff, or install the wrong way, beeing too proud to ask.
WE ALL HAD TO LEARN

Oh and don't worry wiring them the other way won't kill the tweeters. In fact some people wire them this way because depending on your install it sometimes sounds better.

It's called wiring out of phase and sometimes it's desirable in a certain environment.
