Ok so my dad has

1 ZX500 (for front)
1 ZX350 (for rear)
1 Zapco 2 chan (for rear)

Now question is should I just get Phoenix Gold tld66 Tantrum 6 channel line driver or just stick with if i can find SLD-44?

Whats your guys opinion. Someone on the phorum has a TLD66 and offered it but was just waiting to get a SLD-44 but should i Just get the TLD66? Let me know. Thanks.

That depends on how you plan to use them. They're both technically a line driver. But the SLD44 primary function is a line level converter for use with factory headunits. And can be configured as a 4chnl line driver. The TDL66 is just a 6chnl line driver.

So if you are planning on using a factory head unit, the SDL44 would be the one to use. If it is an aftermarket headunit, how many outputs do you have? Front, rear & sub? If so then the TLD66 would be the one to use.

i concur with Greg, if you want each amp2 have a line driver do the tld66, or, you could have a sld-44, with a pld-1, which would be similiar to having the tld66; however, with the tld-66 you use less space, than 3 seperate line drivers, or two, or etc- u get the picture-

well the zapco is going to be bridged mono for the sub. Its a small 12 inch P3 shallow mount because its in a truck so it doesnt need that much power. As for the headunit its going to be a pioneer DEH-P6000UB which has front rear and sub preouts at 4 volts. So I guess getting the 6 channel line driver would be best.
