leds?

i have a bunch of leds laying around, and i just put my system back in my work truck, and itll be a few months before i can put analarm in it, so can someone please tell me how i could wire them to blink , or atleast light up once i turn the car off, so someone may assume i have an alarm? thanx for any and all help-Christian
