tweeter down!

So I was listening to my music loud on my 400.2 Ti and was loving it. My speakers are rsd65cs and all of a sudden I could tell my front left tweeter just stopped working. I then came across the smell of a blown tweeter. Wierd smell. I took my a pillar off and touched the tweeter and WOOOEEE it burnt my thumb! bad! So I'm guessing the gain is set too high and I was only listening to my music for a 1hr 30 min drive and it just got extremely too hot for the tweeter and blew up. Now I dont have a front left tweeter. I think I really need to get a line driver ASAP so that it doesnt happen again and I can lower my gain settings on my amp. And where can i find the tweeters for the rsd65cs anywhere? I hate not having a tweeter it makes such a difference i swear. let me know!

a lonesome tweet will be hard to find.

you could try to find some smiler ones at madasound or partsexpress, but probably a better option would be to buy a new set, and sell the mids as just separate midbasses

awww man well i dont necessarily want to buy just one tweet. If i could get a pair then I would have at least a backup tweet if one were to blow. But man I guess my only option is to buy another set. Then I could have the mid basses in my rear and have components for the front lol guess this kinda worked out. in a wierd way
