RSDC 12 Optimal Sealed Volume?

I'm hoping to reuse my old sub box instead of shelling out for a new one. I did measurements on it this evening and came up with 1.02 cu ft gross internal volume per chamber. This is also taking into account the volume of the .75" MDF spacer between both chambers.

Is 1.02 cu ft gross internal volume going to be too small per sub? I'm hoping to reuse my current .75" MDF box (34.75" W x 12.75" H x 11.25" D with 11.25" x 10" x .75" spacer between chambers) because well, I don't feel like shelling out $120 right now and it fits my Scion Tc perfectly for the sleeper install I'm currently re-doing.

Thanks for your help guys. Hopefully this question hasn't already been asked a bazillion times.

The thing with the RSdC 12" and compatibility is the undersize basket and bolt circle. If the previous woofers were standard size, you may be able to drive it in, but it'll be close. You should maybe build or buy some baffle rings.

As far as the size, less than optimal, but with 2 in a hatchback I'm sure you'll be fine.
