so i just bought a teq4.. its for a daily driver to get some equalization along with having the built in line driver. (and hopefully it will work perfect w/ the din and a half h/u i already have w/ it bein' half din into the double din factory slot in car.. ) what does the variable "Q" adjustment do.. between 1.. 4 ?? may be a stupid question i dunno but i dont know so please someone fill me in lol :shock: also just any input from ppl with them.. fine for the money.. junk dont use it.. w/e and what not

Q is genrally the width of the freq you adust, so while u may have a 80Hz freq selected, u can adjust this but it will affect the freq higher and lower with a higher Q, or wider Q, so 1 would be affecting up to 120Hz and down to 60Hz, but a narrow Q would affect maybe up to 90Hz and down to 70Hz, while adjusting the 80Hz, so it all depends on where u want and how pinpoint u want it to be.
