Was thinking maybe since a lot of us are probably visual learners, could one of you brave soldiers who actually knows the proper way break down the proper steps in a video tutorial? Every step how to properly set your gains with a DMM, even showing what to set ur DMM to and where to put the terminals blah blah blah... If we had a video i am sure we would have lots of happy campers. including me since i am more of a visual/auditory learner. I am bad at reading instructions and then trying to do them

Any takers?

If you search youtube, I think the guys from elemental designs have put a DMM tutorial out there.

cool, thanx dako-just wish i knew, should the dmm be in dcv? i just tried it on my amps, and for example, my ti 600.2(only goingg to my tweets, showed 9, at low volume, my 500.4 going to 2 sets of 6.5s showed 3, and the sub amp barely even registered????

This kick-ass thread has all the info you need:

After some help from bfowler, I was able to determine the voltage settings for my amps. There's a post in the DMM how-to that tells you how to do a google search using square root to find the voltage calcs. Hope that helps. setting via DMM is the only way to go in my opinion.
