Hoe did you like your Xenon's compared to other amps??

I got a dual mono Eclipse running my 3 way comps right now..well part of them...I dont have the mid-bass hooked up right now....thats another story..

but anyhow...

I did have them hooked up for a short time and I used a Xenon 200.2 on it...sounded clean and clear...very good....

I put the Eclipse back in cause its a dual mono monster that does 370 x 2 but only at 4ohms...its not bridgeable and doesnt do 2 ohms...

I am considering putting back in the Xenon but I am holding back till I get a comparison of the 3 way hooked up to the Eclipse...

The Eclipse should be louder and cleaner (THD is 0.004%) but its hard to tell...

I got a line driver coming to boost the Xenon....to get the gains more in line...

Out of all the amps you guys have used how do you think your Xenons stacked up?

I like them but they are ugly..except the onx versions...

I need to sell some of these amsp and I may get a buyer on the Eclipse before I sell any Xenons..so it may not matter..

The Xenon amps are quickly becoming my favorite amp series performance wise. With the top mount controls, crossovers with detents on them, sub-sonic filters for the monoblocks, 24db/oct crossovers, and XE-Load how can you go wrong? I still think that the Titanium amps were the best looking cosmetically, but with their steel covers keeping them looking good is quite a challange (TiAL amps excluded).

I've always loved the way the TI amps looked and sounded. I moved from powering 2 sets of TI6 Elites with 2 TI400.2s to a x200.4, and love it. The sound is as clean as the TI, but much more because of the power of the amp. I wish they were smaller or looked a little better, but for what they give me, I love them.

I have not gotten into the details of the XeLoad, but I've always worked with amps that give you more power at lower resistance, so I am staying away from these when it comes to powering subs, just from the fact that I really don't have 8 or 4 ohm subs and can push more power from a smaller amp at lower resistance. They do work great for full range speakers though (still haven't found another amp that puts out 200+ watts per channel!).

So far the Xenon's have been my favorite amps I've ever used. Course, I've never used any actual high-end amps so my opinion might be a bit skewed.
