Will a line driver make a Xenon better?

Post by gentlejax2 »

I do notice I have to crank the gains a bit on these...more than I do on my Eclipse monster...

I have a line driver coming in hopes that I can turn the gains back down....now...I am stupid and didnt read the manual...but...

I was thinking that 1/2 is about plenty normally for a 4volt deck.....

My eclipse isnt set to half and I think its too much...but at 12 oclock I think the dial says its 1 volt...

I am not sure what this gain thing always bothers me....

but anyhow...with a Audiocontrol line driver I should be able to back it down...any idea to where with this driver?

the xenons like a lot of voltage. they will happily take about 13 volts.

you would certainly benefit from a line driver for the xenons.

i have no idea on the audio control.

im using a tld66 set to about 10 volts output and have my gain all the way down
