Can you "bridge" two amps together?
Can you "bridge" two amps together?
I recently bought an x1200.1 and i was going to sell my x600.1, but it got me thinking of doing a system with 2000 watts. Is this even possible? And how would I go about doing it?

Ti 800.1 the only one capable of strapping as stated.

Almost any amplifier that does not already have an inverted channel can be "strapped" or bridged with another identical amp.
The problem is, that most of the monoblock amps out there, including almost every PG amp I have run into already have an inverted channel. This means that it is already a bridged amp if it is a monoblock, and it makes it "automatically bridgeable" if it is stereo.
You can find some online information on how to make a "bridging adapter" It is pretty simple, but will not work if the amp already uses an inverted channel.
Obviously, based on what VW337 has to say, the X400.1 is a true mono block, the Ti800.1 is as well. Most of the amps out there are not.
The Tantrum 1200.1 is a bridged stereo amp, so is the TI1200.1. All of the smaller TI and ZX stereo amps have an inverted channel, as well as the MS amps.
