whats on your wires when running Xenons or other screw down

Honestly I am not a fan of these screw down Allen head terminals....I hate loose strands and I hate when you remove the wires that there is always some strands about to break off and fal somewhere....

do you guys have something on the ends of your wires? I am thinking about putting some butt connectors on the ends so that I can screw down on the hard connector and keep the wire intact..no matter how many times I remove it...

any other suggestions?

Obviously the screw will hold the wire on power connections but what about the speakers?

Are they supposed to clamp the wire or the wire housing?, as my xenon chews the speaker wire to shit.

For smaller speaker wire you can use banana clips. They crimp on to the end of the wire.

I've never had a problem with just straight copper wire, I prefer that, since there is no additional resistance from a connector or solder, and gain the largest contact area possible, with the way the grub screw pushes the wire out and against the inside of the terminal block.

How often do you need to remove the wire? I rarely need to in my system.

yes....when the system is done then you hardly mess with the wires but like right now..I dont have all my parts....so every time I remove the speaker wires I have to cut it and get fresh wire as the terminals have chewed them up...

but I do have some pin speaker connectors..I just go to find them
