So, the connections on the Xenons are on the bottom panel of the amp, and the way these monsters fit in my dad's Road Runner = not so much. There'd be no way for the RCAs or even the power and speaker terminals to be hooked up. That being said, they fit PERFECT with the PG logo upside down.

I know it would look silly, but at this point I could care less. What I do care about is proper circulation. Since it vents from the sides, would it be ok to mount with the cables coming out the top side?

If its ok to mount like this, is there a clerance I should have under the amp (on the top panel). I need to have the top panel wedged at about a 20 degree angle on some carpet. This won't cause it to run hot will it? Also, how much space between the side vents is necessary? Is this in the manual? The amps are a 600.1 and a 200.4 if that matters... I need to mount em fairly close to each other with a cap in between, but what spacing would be ideal (if I have the room)?

you could try taking off the black end pieces. that would buy you almost 2 inches on the sides. (be carefull, the hex screws in them are a odd size and in quite tight,

Great! Then Ill have em mounted tonight. I'll take a pic to post up here to make sure they are safe with how I have them planned before hooking up.

I have my X200.4 mounted upside down and it's been playing strong for three weeks. I do have 3/8" gap between the amp and the wood for some additional cooling (you can see the spacers near the rubber grommets).

Xenons heatsink is a large mass on the bottom of the amp. It's fan cooled so it doesn't really matter which way you have it installed. I recall Errin even tried blocking off the vents, and his test amp played for days after that... it would not die, only scaled back power.

you can safly loose the 3/8 it you want. the heat sinks fins extend into the amp and the fan blows between them. almost NO cooling takes place on the bottome that would touch the wood

It's already mounted there so I think I'll leave it. Just an extra safety factor for cooling I guess.
