Mount RSDcs crossovers under the seats

I was wondering if you guys have any tips for mounting the RSd crossovers under my seats?

I don't want to drill through the floor sheet metal because I don't want to deal with sealing that up and I don't have a good enough drill or rotary tool to do it anyways...

I know asking this is kind of stupid when you can't see my setup.

I'm going to tear my front seats out (really easy) today and hopefully snap some pics of the area to get you guys better information to help me out with.

I want the crossovers close to the kick panels so I can keep the length of speaker wire from the crossover to the components to a minimum so under the seats seems like the best place. Right now they are sitting loosely under the seats and that's just waaaaaaay to half-assed for me, I refuse to do a permanent installation like that.

I'd appreciate anything you guys can throw my way, even guesses or assumptions. Anything might help.

Thanks!

If you don't want to screw it in then you could use a velcro type sticker on the xover to hold it their to the carpet.

x2 on velcro. or you could ziptie the crossovers to the carpet under the seat by making a few slits with a razor blade.

I ended up doing something in between those suggestions.

Not quite as secure as either of them but it seems to work so far.

I just used short a thick screws to screw the crossover into the carpet and underlying material. There was some kind of dense mat underneath the carpet that ended up providing just enough grip for a screw.

I got one crossover done today and I'll do the other tomorrow sometime.

Velcro would be the best but instead I got lucky with that extra layer of whatever to screw into making the job a bit less flexible (can't easily remove it, etc) but at least as well secured as with velcro, if not slightly more secure.

6 running passively from an M44 and I love them.

Take that with a grain of salt though, I'm not experienced enough to compare them to other drivers.

I've heard fuzzy's truck.

The RSD's are the best bang for the buck speakers/subwoofers I have ever heard. Buy them knowing they will sound as good or better than sets over double the price.

How well does that m44 push the rsds? Is it powerful enough for the job?

If you like "OMGFUCKINGLOUD!!!!!11111", the M44 is not enough.

If you like clean, clear and loud enough for any comfortable listening, then hell yes, I still got room on the front gain too, I just haven't needed it yet.
