NICO THIS HAS YOUR NAME ALL OVER IT, if not yours then mine anyways....
55 INCHES OF GOOD LOVIN'

I recently stumpled across this guys!!!

I "think" i have opportunity to buy.. not entirely sure as he said he might try his hand on the bay first... I am trying to convince him that he should sell direct to me... he is looking for ball park of 3K...

Just wanted to show it off, and see if anyone had seen before... unless you know him... probably not, as he claims it is a one of.

It is 3 2250's in same sink measure 55". I seem to recall having seen it before.. just cant put my finger on it as to where...

A friend of mine has a picture of a similar amp on his foto wall back home in austria! He took it at some iasca finals in france in the mid 90ties. The only difference is that the one his picture shows is made of 3 MS2125. But from what i know this one was custom build. Kind a special order.

Good luck for you! Hope you can get your hands on that! 8)

Just post it in here if he is going to take it to ebay!

think joma had something simliar... but not really.. iirc, he had a 2125 and 275 butted up against each other... with some kind of black support bars holding them together...

This is to be believed theonly piece of this sort with the 2250's... not sure about Jorge's mention of the 2125's unit he saw pictures of.. but these are 2250's. and it's here in the states.

I was going to post office, getting coffee and BS when auction ended thinking I had 4-5 hours to go... But said... ya know.. jorge wanted it also, and brought it up first.. I AM JEALOUS THOUGH... REALLY JEALOUS... BUT next time let the next one go.. as you have 4 now- pleeeaaassseee! :D   :D

okay, back to regulary scheduled program the "Trip MS-2250 show", starring the single sink!

all i have to say is that is RARE! If you could snag that up by selling ur car or something else do it! haha but for reals that is a sick ass amp. I couldnt see u selling ur ms1k nickel plated for that. ur ms1k is to rare of an amp to sell it as well. Theres gotta be something you can do so you can keep both. SOMETHING!

If not the only thing left would be to sell the ms1k like u said because 1 of 1... i mean come on... thats a given. something u keep forever and hand down.

hope this makes sense... maybe give u a little headway

You could have one made for less than $3K though........

what makes me kinda want it (aside from the obvious) it would be nice addition to the "One-Of" collection I kinda have started into:
I have that XTANT Shroud - But just need the amps to go with it. But it would be neat to start something like that... but wholly hell, this hobby gets expensive!

kinda thinking the same thing actually.. but coming from factory has the prestige of a "one-of"... but yeah I hear ya!

I prolly wont end up with it. I'm actually in process of trying to fundraise and not spend right now.. but then somethign like this comes along...
SHIT I wouldn't want to pay the insurance on having it shipped, never mind paying to have it shipped. geesee- I realize thats what CC's are for, but those have to get paid eventually also.

I´ve never seen a nickel as long as i´ve been with PG. Just leave me a note and some pic´s because i might have somebody willing to take it 8)

I just sent an E-Mail to my friend back home in Austria to get some more infos about the one on his photo wall. He started with phoenix about 2 year´s after the jumped on the market! For sure he know´s a lot more than i do about it.

With all due respect and certianly appreciate your eagerness to assit and might possibly take you up on that.. but i have to say out of courtesy... they is a long line in/out in front ahead... As soon as folks knew I was GOING to secure it.... I had racks of emails coming in.. (well onlyy three or four) .... but yeah... I certianly may take you up on it... but just out of courtesy I would have to go down the line in order of request. you wouldnt be that far off though - AND That's if I even wish to sell.. not saying I would for this.. just crossed my mind that's all.. I'm not sure I would.. I may just use my amex and worry about it in three weeks.

Pic's of MS1K can be seen here (go down towards the bottom of the page...) MY INSTALL LINK HERE in case you would like to see/pass them along to your friend though..

PLEASE bear in mind that when those pictures were taken, that was just after the amp arrived with the damaged terminals and bent buss-bars. SINCE THEN I have fixed everything with it, even have some extra BRAND NEW End Caps for it, and just need to get a plexi for it, which I am in the middle of as of yesterday in fact. I would like to change the caps on it though.. I have the 24 caps I need, just need the time now to do it.

ya never know, those folks may find themselves in different situation now than before and you and/or your friend might end up first in line at the end... BUT (and again) this is if I decide to sell that for this unit.. which I dont think I would do... to be real... Theres just something about a NICKEL MS1K... never mind the practicality of the MS1K over the trip-2250, I could see myself using the MS1k more so, than that trip-2250. Trip-2250 would just end up sitting under the bed, (prolly along side the MS1k)... but there have been times of actually considering breaking ouy the MS1K, and letting her breath for a bit.... cheers for now... pic's of the MS1K post repairs coming in your PM Jeorge...mh :D :) :o

I appreciate it very much to even be on the list of wanna be buyers. As long i´m used to forums and lot´s of weird things going on in there i never felt as welcome as in here! I know i´m new in here and should have joined about 5 Years ago but with travelling the world and focusing on other things i didn´t see much of a sense in it!

I´ve seen people taking money over friends a lot of times and im pretty sure that this is a thing nobody is going to do in here! I´m not even trying to make u an offer! I didn´t even think of winning the SOFA on Ebay a week ago with all of u guy´s on it! Gotta say Thanks for that!

As soon as i´m back home i will take pictures of what i got for sale and if there is somebody interessted in here i will take it with me to the states to save this anoying oversea shipping fee!

Again welcome Joerg! We try to be accomadating to one another. Back off when someone asks for "Dibs" on a product (I mean to an extent!) And we all try to spread the wealth when we can (share the deals...and pick up stuff for each other and be the middle man etc). Anyway again welcome! better LATE than NEVER! :)

To be honest, I have "always" wondered why no one ever ordered a custom 3 piece side-by-side...

But now I see that there infact were...

I wonder what the name of the company that made those sinks is? Maybe they still have the forms - looong shot in the dark - I know. But you never know, suddenly there is a guy who works there with a passion for PG... ??

"Heyyy, I made a couple of sinks for myself one night - with space for 4 side-by-side.. They are not painted, so you can get them for cheap"

...................... I wish...........

hey matt,
just curious, what is the spec ? 2 x 250 + 2 x XXX ? Seems the triplet is combining the power of 2 MS2250 into a bigger power 2 channel amp with another MS2250 on its own

To be honest, I would prefer an oldschool MS1000 to that.

1) looks better
2) production amp, so no "hacks" like having to feed power wires out of the case
3) produces about the same power as all three 2125's
4) actually fits in a car

The #1 reactor is cool, but to be honest, i've seen a couple of those
