No idea about specs or availability, it was just on the PG website

it is a rsd 600.1 and 500.4 sharing a common case.

500 produced, and 150 already presold to distribution/stores....most to trends in canada.

they arent expected to be available until may-ish

Stupid Trends, I contacted them about phoenix gold dealers, they gave me a list of them in Ontario, not ONE of them carried PG stuff

I won`t pay retail. Since the amp will be on display while I am gone(I am going to sea in the next week I hope), I don`t expect to pay over 10% over cost.

Well, went to the dealer today and he hadn't contacted PG for a price yet....he was still waiting to hear from them about an RMA and they hadn't been real prompt in responding...so he will try them again on Monday.

I can't believe some of these retailers. It's like you're inconveniencing them by opening the door to their place and asking to buy product.
If the retailer keeps up that attitude, he'll be out of business a few Mondays after that.
