That looks custom...

please tell me your kidding :| or your not 100% on that

i asked the guy and he told me "'I'm not positive, but I think it's for a MS275 and similar amps. It's definitely from the MS and MPS era of amps."

just got a response from the seller ..............is the 250 and 275 the same size???

Dear gx3-55,

Phoenix Gold did not make home audio when this was made. It fits one of the MS series of amps for sure. I have a mint condition MS2125, MS430 and (2) MS250 that I will be putting up on ebay tomorrow. I can check and see which one of those amps it fits.

It is definitely for a car audio amp and not for anything home audio.

That is a shroud for an MS amp. I've seen a few around on the net, but not in quite awhile. I was actually looking at buying the same piece.

And yes, the 275 and 250 are the same size. I think it is just the MQ430 that is a little longer.

Yep. that IS a standard production PG amp shroud they made in the early 1990's for the small case MS and the larger case MS amps. The size of the shrouds varies accordingly to which amp the case is meant for.

I owned a couple when I first bought first generation MS2125's back in the olden days.

Im gonna be honest guys, I think they are really ugly.Very plain cosmetically.A simple false floor and some plexi gets my vote :)

Those shrouds are PG for real...

I have 2 of those in my closet, still brand new and unused... I bought them new in 1993 for my MS-275s... I also have the fans that belong to them...
