Eclipse ECD415 Need advice

Does anyone know about this radio? The guy that is selling it claims its a really nice radio But it looks so plain. The radio looks mint I havent even heard of it

The old ecd series of units that Eclipse made were awesome. They had a vacuum tube display, low output impedance and high voltage. They were one of the originators of high voltage and low impedance. No bells and whistles to complicate the sound or extra heat to make things run cooler.

alot of older eclipses eventually developed problems reading discs, though. I loved my old ecd, but it eventually got to the point where it would read a disc 1/100 times or so..

i have a ecd 415 and a 416 very nice head units and i am selling mine too if interested 125.00 both are great condition reads disk on the first try and still doesnt skip

I picked it up off of the guy and this has to be the best radio I have ever heard so far the sound quailty is awsome
It blow's my 7909 away

never heard it, but sometimes, less whistles, is better than 2 many , u know the saying, co. has a good reputation

Very true but I was skeptical about it since I have never heard of that model but I can sure tell you i think I stole this one
I thought it had power outputs but its has to have an amp its just like my alpine but alot cleaner and crisper sounding

2.7 volt and 22ohm on the rca cant go wrong

Be forewarned. The guy turned out to be less than honest. HighVoltage and ssims were the same person. Check the buyer and seller rating section, there is a thread with the info in it.

Thanks you sir very much for looking out. I did found the topic a little after I posted this.

. The things that looks like my 415 I sold on ebay a while back. I have a few of these units (a 416, 415, 3-414 and a 412 and a couple of 414 and 415 for parts) I was looking to pict these to up.
