At first glance it looked like a TC9 with a boot on it. IIRC the 3200 was much beefier than the TC9. To bad TC Sounds went under. :(

From what Ive heard, the sq is top notch... If I was on the market for a powerful sql 12, I would give these a shot.

I would be careful, because if the driver fails, who is going to warranty it?

Aww they went back up in price.

That was a smokin' deal while it lasted. Too bad I'm not into SPL or I would've bought a couple.

The tc 3k, which is pretty much what this is, was not an spl driver. sql maybe. All their drivers are highly reguarded as having great sq, despite the rediculous power handling specs on their drivers. Kinda like the pg elite, can handle 2k, but sounds great.. As for the price, yea it went up, was a good deal, but short lived

2500wrms SQ driver

Wouldn't make sense unless you are running 1500w per side on your front stage. Anything is possible I guess :)

The lms ultra which is rated at 4kw is a highly reguarded sq driver aswell  Yes the power ratings are silly, but I have heard from reputable sources, that they have great sq. Also the maelstrom x, which I was originally looking at is rated at 1500 watts, and is highly reguarded in sq, also the xxx, which is 2kw is aswell, and so on... I guess they figure these days that power is cheap, so why not

I would guess the price hike is due to the rumor that PE owes TC some money. But I am not positive on that.
