Its time to give up the goodies

Post by KillerX »

well iv been thinking about life lately and thinking why I have so much stuff in boxes and why I would keep them hidden there. I have recently found out that life is too short to worry about tomorrow and I need to start living for today.

Soooo... cleaning out my closet trying to keep my self busy and my mind off things I found some stuff I was just keeping for the fun of it.

first thing I found was a crap load of Phoenix Gold Zero Point mids and tweets. now some of you may remember I sold about half of what I had in Zero Points and this is the remainder. Some of these have never even touched power, for what? to set in a box and look pretty pisssh..

These will be going in my car and since I already have the Ferraris Zero Points set aside Ill just sell the rest

Next thing I found and totally forgot about was a True Balencing Act Tranmister (TbaT) with my EQ230 that I purchased brand new and never hooked up. I think I posted why a TBAt is better then RCA's but thats for another time. This will also be going in my car.

and finally the ZX 950 I was working on will be powering the system. I havnt put the Phoenix Gold decal on it or the windows PG sent me (for free plus a Tshirt! woo!) but ill probably finish it this week and get ready for the install.

For the head unit im looking on ebay for a AVIC-F900BT but its still very expensive. I wounder if futureshop guys still get a deal on car audio, I may toss some zero points in for them :P but well see.

I havnt even gone through all my stuff yet this is maybe a 1/4 if that so im sure ill find more goodies but I think this will be all I want for now, unless I find an Xmax somewhere in my closet lol.

Since I want this to be a clean install and really I havnt seen people do any installs on an Astra (not even in Europe) I think I may have to consult with some professionals whether to go wood or fiberglass, hell maybe ill even take some pics and you guys can tell me what yall think.

So ill probably post pics tomorrow of my trunk to see what some of you guys think of what I can do with this. that would be a great help. Im trying to stay away from the amps on a board with wires going behind them days

Brad :)

You gotta post pics of your *cough* Ferrari *cough cough* for us in the Automotive section. I'm curious to see how that's come along!

well My dad passed away 2 weeks ago and he has a 1979 Corvette t-tops so Im thinking of selling the Fie-Arri (fiero/ferrari together) and keeping the corvette just because I would have way to many cars. but now looking outside my window I think ill have to think about it. Its so sad seeing it under tarps. Iv bolted most of the body down, I just have to install rear and front lights as well as front grill, then paint
