here is what Im trying to do
I want to run 8" sws earthquake seats sub in the oem localation
they need 75-250 rms
I want to add a 12 sub in the rear (don't know on the brand yet)
so what amp shoul I use
I own zx850ti,Reactor and Route 66
they can all do 3 channel but?
I might want to add 2 smaller amp so they are easier to mount? all of these are large in size
the amp I was thinking about
are
xs6600
2 x400.1 or
2 zx or ti 600.2 or 400.2
m100 m50 or 2 m25
Im not a bass head just want to install it and leave it
what ever amp I use for the sub will help determine what sub to buy
I want a small sealed box 12" or 13.5
my car is a bmw E90 335i. I want as much trunk space as I can the wifey and I are planning on kids in a couple of years
should i keep and use one of mine or sell one or 2 of them and get something differnt/new to me
my car has a stock 170 amp alt. and the battery in in the truck so the power wire will be 5ft
I am using a line level coming off the stock amp

Reactor... 2x75w for front stage, 2x75w for earthquakes, 1x500 for sub

they are only 4" fronts oem they can only handle maybe 30watts
can't afford shallow 4"focals 48mm clearance.
just the amp is large in size and would have to do a false floor and finish it this time..lol

So replace them with something alittle more suited for listening purposes and and falsify that floor.

the deck does have a 8band eq to get more out of it
when I had my last E90 I had stock everything but a Hcca 10 ported from 1999 and the highs sounded good?
remeber there are 11speakers in this set up including the 3 subs

I would be on the 850, but isn't that two 600.2's? I thought you were still powering your front stage?

If you're just running the subs and midbass, then yeah, your 850 would be fine.

What kind of sub u want? 10, 12 or 15 inches! If i find one i can take it with me to the states by the 5th of march and ship it to canada! There was a 12inch for 140Euros last week but it is already sold!

And u got to mention that the aliante is not a SPL Woofer! It´s one of the best SQ-Woofers if u ask me! I had one 10th each door as midbass after the focals!

They made 2 different ones! One of them is the LE and the other one is the SI. The one in the auction i put up in here is an LE the yellow one is an SI. The difference is the material the membrane is made of.

I know that the LE ones where the more expensive ones! The membrane was´nt as heavy as the SI´s membrane

I´m here in CT! I will go home for a short vacation end of february and take the sub with me to america in my suitcase on my flight back at the 5th of March! No money for shipping and taxes until it arrives in the US!

It´s not that i don´t want to tell u but at some point my english hits it´s limits! The woofer is very dry and audiophile! The woofer needs arround 30l sealed enclosure.

You don´t need to pull out any money from anywhere right now! Let me get one of those aliantes first! Your max is 200Euros you said. I´ll try to get one on my own and pay for it! If i find one i´ll take it back to america with me u send me payment including shipping to your address and thats it for now! I´ve got no problem to pay for the aliante meanwhile!

Im going to use my ZX850ti in a faulse floor under plexi
one side of the zx600.2ti stereo to my seat subs 2 sws8" earth quake
the other side of the amp zx600.2ti to run my Phase Linear Aliante 15
in a sealed box 59l so 2.02cub
it hard to find info but its rated as one of the best sounding sq subs ever made and it hit low!!!! they beat out the 13" focal uptopia and jl w7 in sq
they are very very pricey like $799-1000euro new but I have one one the way used in the pic at the top of this post
I have 2 lpl's and 2 volt meters coming
so I can't wait one f pg cap the old pg ground and power block
