What is the preferred placement for the TBATS??
both back towards amp? one by amp, while the other up by HU? OR Both by HU??
OR Does it just not simply matter at all???

It's a linedriver, so put it near the HU.

The TBATS are also line driver??
hummm... didnt know/realize that... Would it be okay to put on the 275 with the 275 showing 200mv - 2v input sensativity?
(On the other hand now after looking at ms2250, why does that amp show 200mv-5v input )...
huh?
1) Why the difference between amps? on the input sensativity spec's???
2) is it okay to put TBAT on the 275?? with output performance of "up to 11v"
I was planning on putting it on my front stage amp (MS275)? And not the other two the2250(bass) and the other 275(rear fill))... just the front stage...

TBAt (transmitter) - At the HU
TBAr or EQ 230/232 (receiver) - At the amps

I was also somewhat afraid of that too... I only have like a 3 foot cord... I can get other/longer cord as all it uses is a PS2 Cable, simliar to what you find at end of PC mouse/keyboard.. but it's finding the male to male connection.
Anyone know if PG still has OEM patch cords for those? I recall it being discussed before.

Yeah, PG provided cables for it. You're correct, the original TBAs use the PS/2 connector (called a 6 pin mini DIN). But, if you have a soldering iron you can just make your own cable as long as you have two male ends, which you can get from two busted mice or two keyboards or one of each. Or you could just order two 6 pin mini DIN connectors and a length of cable (with enough leads) from somewhere like partsexpress and make the cable that way too.
Edit: Whoops, I missed the "still" in your question. I have no idea if they still have any of these cables around or not.

how about the issue of the 275's specing out with 200mv - 2v input sensativity ?? will the tbats potentially be an issue on the 275? wouldnt wanna blow my inputs? can that even happen is that a legitimate concern?

i kinda like the idea of making my own... but in same breath like having oem gear too.. but a patch cord I might be able to over look.

TBAt and TBAr both have gain settings. Just use a DMM and set them appropriately for 2V.

Or how bout this:

PS/2 m-m cable!
I am sure you can find em elsewhere as well. Just the first thing I saw...
It's a two pack, and looks to have two colors...so would help to know which cable is which etc...

Did a tad more searching, and at $1.99....depending on shipping to yourself....is fairly cheap....newegg, tirgerdirect etc all want at least double if not tripple that....(for 1 cable...not two) but might again see about the cost of shipping....might outweigh the $1.99 for two...

NICE! 6'
i also just googled and came up with 10 & 15" if you wanna spend the money... but some of those are all commonly insulated in the middle of the cords. So you have to tear them apart real carefully... i dont think the one you found wake up is like that. I think those are separate wires...perhaps... but certainly doesnt have the video cable in it like some I have seen.

Yup...also most computer stores should have PS/2 Extension cables. So that being said, you might try the local stores and such you might not have to wait for shipping etc. Fry's and Best Buy etc....

tried circuit city and radio shack... typically speaking IF they even have anything loike that around here it is male to female... only having it shipped in is going to be answer I think.. I tried a number of different communities around here Greenfield, Brattleboro, and Keene and all I could find is Male to Female
But i like what you posted that you came across at first with... that's cheap as hell and kinda like the purple.

hehehe
I found a 300ft male-male 6 pin min DIN cable... TABt across the house!

On a more serious note, these guys have the right cable in various lengths for just a couple dollars. Link is for the 10ft cable. They have longer and shorter, if necessary.

You know what matt?! I have some of those cables...(sitting here in my garage...but it'd probably be best to go and order from geeks. Cuz It'd probably cost me more to pack and ship..that it'd cost them to do it...
