ok, i know i cant be the first pg owner where a pot has started to whine, anybody have any idea what size etc. this may be; just slightly the other day and tonight, my tweets began to WHINE-when i take the front channel off of multiply by 10 button, it goes away, or if i leave it in hp active for the tweets and "JIGGLE" the freq.pot it it will go away; i know this happened many years ago on my zx450-and, i know if i leave it alone , it will only get worse-thanx in advance-

Is this the one with 8 pots in one row? If so, they are called "ganged" potentiometers, however, I have not yet found anyone with a 8 gang unit available off the shelf. I believe that the value is 50K, linear taper for all 8 pots. I am pretty sure they are 9mm and the manufacturer is ?ACP?.

The few I have swapped, I have robbed from hopelessly blown amps, or amps I didn't want to devote time to fixing. I will look around some more, but you may end up with PG being the only likely supplier unless you want to order 1000 of them...

Later,
Jason

Thanks Jason, I also sent a email to Alexk(tech who works on the amps @ PG) and he suggested turning the pot back and fourth twenty times; he states they build up resistance, overtime, so I will try that too.
