Anybody familiar with a linear power pa II preamp EQ ? I have one and want to use it in my system but am unsure how to hook it up properly.
Right now my system goes from alpine 9887->PLD1->coustic XM5E crossover->MS2125-M100-M100
Do I put it in place of the PLD1 or do I put it between the 9887 and PLD1?
I am thinking I shouldn't even have the PLD1 in there at all anyway for those amps.

As long as it accepts an input voltage of 8v, putting it after the PLD is fine. If it only accepts low voltage, you would have to install it before.

And yeah, those M's will only take 2 volts. If you had something like an EQ215 or EQ230, you could reduce the line voltage in the back of the car for them, but without one you will be limited to 2v out of your PLD.

Well I was able to get the manual for this from ray at linear power very helpful guy and even emailed me the manual at this late hour.
Turns out it's output level is from 0 to 5v nominal max output level is 7v rms. It can accept input levels from 150mv to 5v. So I likely will have no use for my black PLD1 at all.
