Anybody think i should trade my xenon 100.4 for an tantrum 600.4 so it could match my tantrum 1200 or is there an sound quality difference. Please let me know thanks.

You gain a little more headroom plus matching amps. But the Xenon line is no slouch either. It's all about personal pref.

The Tantrum line is a force to be reckoned with but it is not as clean of power as the Xenons. You would not likely hear a difference however, you would only see it on a scope.

it sounds like its just for front duty, since you already have a 1200.1. the xenon is a better amp for full range speakers because it is optimized for a 4ohm stereo load.

And trade for a Xenon 1200.1.

I would take the Tantrum 600.4, or trade the Tantrum 1200.1 for a Xenon 1200.1.

Matching installs are the shit. It is very rare that one with different amps will look good.

im drunk....read post wrong

I wouldnt do a straight up trade, ask for a few bucks w/ it as the xenon is a better amp. But in the end I would trade to have matching amps.

t1200.1 IS > x1200.1

but

x100.4 + x1200.1 > t600.4 + t1200.1
