Hey all, Im just about to start a new install in my Jeep. I've got my plans all laid out, but have been contemplating runing my ground back to the battery. I read a recent post , and heard that its supposed to better.
First off, can I use a standard distro block to consolidate my 2 4ga. grounds in to one 1ga. back to the battery? this probably sounds likea dumb question but I want to be sure.
second, whats the advantage of doing so. will this eliminate any possibility of a ground loop or reduce noise at all. Im not worried about it over all, just want to know the real advantage of buying and running the extra wire..
lastly, I'm running my power wire underneath the car (well protected of course) is it cool to run the ground in the same "conduit" ? I know RCA's and power should be separate. and am pretty sure it should be fine.
thanks for your input.

Grounding Question
Is this where Im supposed to write something catchy??
I wouldn't call it superior unless your car is built like a tin can. Think of how thick the metal in your frame is, compared to even a 0 gauge wire.
If you want to do the extra work and spend the extra money, that's fine, but I don't think you will notice a bit of difference. The way you would be installing it sounds fine.
