BUT you do see what I am talking about eh?? see where the seem in the magnets are not in lilne with the stator (i think that's what I am looking at in the pictures above)... looks like the seems for the magnets are maybe off by a half of turn, or should they be that way... that was the way it was just upon opening it... I didnt change anything... what say you

Those are meant to be that way Matt! They should not line up at all! otherwise u would have no chance to get any rotation out of it! 8) If the seems line up u already reached the 38 degree rotation maximum

I will never forget the fist system we did with a cyclone. My buddy fired it up and I had my old 12v cordless drill on top of the rear package tray. I will never forget watching that drill rattle like all hell for 3 secs before it was launched into the back seat where I caught it.

Your gonna love that thing

QUESTION:

can the cyclones be installed like a reg sub...i.e. motor/basket out and firing down??? and if so, and if i understand correctly from manual, that the volume reccomended is 2/2.5 depending on your taste in music- so if i wanted to do a firing down - can I- OR alternative is to make a box to mfg. specs and make a couple of the walls with plexi so the shock and awe of the cyclone can be seen....right?

maybe it is neat/nice to have installed like a regular sub, but i would want to be able to show off the paddle action(s)....
Is it a strict specification for the 2.5/3cf volume for the cyclone?? or can it be a little smaller... I am thinking now how the F am i going to install this unit and where...

i have looked at all sorts braces/brackets, swival hinges etc... and thought about a way to suspend from the roof of car, but I also need another amp for it... right???

LAST QUESTION...

with only one bass cube, do I run HU to BC, and then from BC get a couple y-adapters from the rca out and run one set to the reg sub and sub amp, and the another set to the cyclone and cyclone amp...?

I am considering a 2125 for cyclone duties-so I would want to make a box that will not only house the clone, but the amp as well seeing how my other gear is pretty well fixed locations. - there really is no moving about the amps and sub i have in there now so I gotta work with what i got.

pls thx

I´ll have the motor inside out too Matt! Wanna do a real sshowoff as well!
You can make an enclosure of 2,5cuf then! Wouldn´t make a smaller one as you are going to get more mechanical noise out of the clone.

HU-BC-left channel for MS2250 for reg subs
--------rigth channel MS2125 for Cyclone

very nice... And doesn't even need cleaning. You, sir, are a lucky dog.

very nice...currently building a box for two cyclones firing out in just under two ft per driver to run off the back channels of a reactor on a four ohm bridge...still got a way to go but she'll look like a big as generator with a reactor on the back of it and the cyclones up top. am burying a g series dd9500 and a monster autotek in it to but from the back she'll be all pg...tubes and cable all over...ought to turn out cool....they are an interesting speaker...

once the box is done I'll but it on a sine wave generator and see just how low she'll go...

heres a couple pics so you can see how they'll run up top sticking up over the back seat
