ms2250 ?'s

1) Has anyone ever seen an MS2250 with a black metal cover on it?? curious to know if black covers even exist???

2) Is the MS2250 the only Sink that PG anodized vs. powder coated?
i cant think of one..

I'd like to see a black anodized one as I've only seen white powder coated ones myself.

Why not post this is in Car Audio section?? It will hit more people and probably even some PG employees.

the bottom cover ???? I haven't ever heard of the cover or the sink being anodized ..... they did have black ones direct on the bay a few years back just b4 the buy out but they were all done in black powder

yeah the 2250 sink is anodized - at least the two that I have...

cant say that I ever saw a black powder coated sink... only anodized... BUT i never saw frank or SOFA are those coated or anodized...Joerg?

Yep my 2 2250s are anodized as well. Its quite nice compared to powdercoating imo. Not 100% sure but I think all of the 2250s back then shipped with the plexi bottoms?

The original 2250's were anodized black, the custom TA's, SOFA's, etc. were powder coated.

Am I wacked or just short term mem loss??
seen yellow, white, green, blue,
but black only on 1000's and of course the OSFAS and FAS

I'm sure there's one or two out there, and when I find one to match my MS1K TA it's mine!!

Dont think they exist- right? i have never seen, would like to.. but never seen?

I get what you're saying now, sorry. :idiot:

The black MS2250's are all anodized vs the TA's which are powder coated. I still believe someone somewhere has a black MS2250 TA though. :twisted:

if I recall corectly there are 3 one with white lettering one with yellow and one with light blue lettering they had a BIN around 850 and I'm still kicking my self for not picking one up .... I wanted the light blue

When I bought my black MS1000TA with gold silkscreening, the seller had it's "little brother" - black MS2250ta with gold aswell - and I had the first dibbs to it....

I did not buy it, and I have hated myself since day.. But I do think that it was a forum fellow that bought it - not quite sure, but I do think so...
