Are all of these heat sinks exactly the same ?

Or is there a difference ?

IIRC......... The sink is the same size for all of those..........

Is there ANTHING different about them

i.e....holes

I think the holes may differ alittle too....... I'm not 100% sure though.......

I know the 2250TA holes are different because they when to the bars.

What about the MPS-2500 ?

Trying to figure out if I can stick my 2125 in a 2500 heatsink and it still look the same

and if any of the revisions over time (REV A B C D etc...) (i.e. like already mentioned the "TA factor"), had maybe different, upgraded, reduced transistors/switches/etc... that get/got pinned to the sink ??

They are all identical except of course for the device mounting holes

I am inclined to think that perhaps the only change that would have been made would have been between like the orig -> up to the TA or use of cross support bars... as Fuzzy pointed out... like DB and I discussed in PM, it would prolly been too much of an expense/effort to have different 2125/2500/2250 sinks for dropping boards into them at that point in their mfg processes.
IOW I think they would have wanted to keep it simple... BUT I am only speculating...

So are you saying that the holes from/to a 2125 to a 2500 would/are differnt, VIN???

Some of these amps have their heatsink thermal sensors in different places, so swapping out a board from one to the other may require drilling and tapping a hole on each side.

That's what I am trying to avoid.....I just want to do a straight swap, so if I need a MS-2125 heatsink that is what I will get....I have plenty of time, and I want everything to look right

in your case DB, like i mentioned I would do is go over and take picture of the 2500 and the rev E 2125 I have (that's gonna be yours), side by side and see what's up. I think it may work, but there does stand that chance that it may not.

but it is good topic and I'm curious to know on a more broader scope.

Only time will tell...they all measure the same...but like I said on the 2250 the torrents mount differently at the end of the rails then on the 2125
