pg subwoofers choice

I have some rds 6.5 components. I loved these so much i have bought 3 sets. 2 for my vehicles and one for my next trade in. I am replacing all my infinity stuff. I assume the subs sound just as good. What would be the best sub for accuracy and sq. I am running a 50 watt rockford for the components. I also have a 200watt kicker tested at 273watt. I can get a bigger amp if need be.
I listen to mostly metal head music . I was thinking a rsdc 12" or 10" or older models if i can get them

RSdC in 10" or 12"
They'll run with 200W without issue but you may or may not desire more power depending on taste.

But I also like a heavy thump too..............
Gotta rattle my brains alittle........... I'd run a pair off a 800w amp (X600.1
) and like it........... Maybe now'z the time to think about a transition to some PG amps also.......
I likes a matching system.............

I am going to be happy with my DD9512....(nothing to do with PG...) but I have a pair of cyclones going in as well!
and definitely need more than a couple hundred watts....

with the amount of wattage you have at hand, i would definitely lean towards a single 12" RSDc in a 1.3 net sealed enclosure, based on your listening preferences. you should end up with some extremely punchy and clear bottom end.

12" Xmax subs and looove them. Now my Xenon deff did have a different sound then the xmax, I felt lower bass sounds would hit nicer on the xenon but for SPL I still think Xmax killed it

I've had several Xmax installs... 10's 12's ported and sealed.
They have a very strong motor with light stiff cones... lightning quick response, very tight, and a brutal snap to the 12's. They get boomy on lower bass though... and have a tendency to clobber notes. Definitely doesn't have the low extension or finesse of the RSD/RSDC subs.
If you like rowdy, punchy, efficient, LOUD bass, the Xmax are great.

Just kind of an observation, but thanks for the experienced POV. If it is not obvious already, I prefer low end extension with finesse.

the X-max subs are also very durable. We had a set of 10's in our soundboard back in the day that use to get beat on regularly. After almost 2 yrs the sales guys decided they were lookin ratty and wanted to get them replaced so of course what way was better then to warrenty them. We turned up a ZX600Ti that was bridged to them and proceded to pound away on them expecting them to blow any time. 15 mins later the soundroom had a horrible smell of a very very hot voice coil but the speaker would not blow. The cone was warm but it still kept rockin.
It did not how ever pass the 60 hz test.....
