WELCOME TO THE PHORUM
YES, Do it!!! If you love PG amps use them. I'm biased as are some of the others around here. The titanium series amps look better than the aforementioned soundstream, In my opinion.....I'm not too familiar with the amps you have now but do know that the Ti's are very musical and are generally quite reliable. really you need to audition them yourself. maybe someone else will chime in. i have a few smaller Ti's myself and have throughly enjoyed using them for over a decade in different systems i've had.

WELCOME! I spent a few days in barcelona on a trip more then a few years ago and had a great time. Great city with great people!
Your kinda asking the wrong people if you should switch over to PG, we tend to favor them a little bit....

THANKS YOU very much for yours answer & for your sincerity.
I've tried many brands, including PG in their best times! I have tried the serial MS amps, ZX, Tantrum, Xenon & Octane.
For me, the MS serial is very very good. Tantrum & Xenon, it´s not my favorite. In old time, I´ve the big problem with the Tantrum serial! With the mono amp!
The Ti600.2 is good amp, but I'm not able to compare with SS VGA!
In the Spain this 2 trademarks is not currents, it´s uncommon.
In my home, I have one Ti600.2 new condition & I have one Ti600.2 used located.
My posibility is chane 2 VGA600.2 for this 2 Ti600.2.
I ned your honest opinions PLEASE.
I'm sure you know the 2 marks, which would help me a lot.
Ttocs!
Barcelona is good but Madrid it´s very very good!!!!!!!
Thanks you for your replys,
regards.

Hell I think you're set with what you have... If you had crap I'd say switch but it seems like apples and oranges to me.
Welcome! Go Messi... Hell Spain has had a hell of a run in the sports world lately. What are you guys eating over there? I want some

In Spain, everything we eat 100% natural, like the woman of your avatar!
Thanks you very much for your aswer!
It´s posible one combination for this Ti600.2 and my other amp (Audison VRX4.300 CS) for the active 3 ways without te passive filters...

Wowwwww David! Those are nice speakers Those crossovers are a work of art! I think you should keep them, and not run active.
Your English is very good too!
I am not sure about your Soundstream amplifiers. If they are the original, old Soundstream, then they are likely just as good as your PG amps. Old Soundstream and PG were VERY similar in design principles. However, if they are the newer amplifiers, made by Power Acoustik, then the PG amps are MUCH better!
So I think you will be just as happy with your Soundstreams as with Ti600.2's.

Thanks you VERY much fo yours answers.
Your answers are very helpful.
The Van Gogh serial is the old school; is not Power Acoustic.
This amp is very good; good dynamics and good separation of chanel.
But my problem is that I did not decide on any configuration!
Active or passive? SS or P.G.??? This is a question!!!!
dBincognito!
Excuse-me, but wath set-up is the bomb????
Sorry!
My english is vey bad!
Regards.

oK! Thanks for your reply!
SS VGA is good amp, it´s old school, no is Power Acoustic.
Van Gogh serie is last serial old school fom SS.
The actual SS is very diferent. No resemblance at all. This is a shame.
The question is active (VGA5004 & VGA600.2) or passive (2 amp VGA600.2 or 2 Ti600.2)?????
Thanks you very much.
.David.

David, "the bomb" basically means "the best". It is a compliment!
That reminded me of something totally unrelated though...
SOMEONE SET UP US THE BOMB!!

Those TRU amps are nice but usually way over-priced...
Active will sound better....In my opinion
But those passive's you have look so nice

Don't forget to look at Audison as well! They make excellent equipment and should be locally available.
Audison, Brax, PG, Oldschool Soundstream, TRU... that's all some very nice equipment! But I like your setup just how it is right now. I do not think you need to change it!
What kind of capacitor is that, by the way? I know BRAX makes some excellent caps!

oK! THANKS you for your compliment!
This passives ar very very very good, but I have the P9 kombi!
I think everything is better in service, but with patience. So I think, but in no uncertain caraudio. So I make my consultations.
Your opinions are very helpful. I know very well the European brands like Audison, Steg, etc. .... and some amps Americans, but there are some models that I have no reference.
You know the range, but the Ti500.4 (75X4) never tried it and it may be short of power compared to a VGA500.4 (125X4)
Regards.

The Ti500.4 is underrated and should easily make 100-125W on music. Either way the difference between 75w and 125w is only ~2 decibels. You would barely notice the difference.
I used to have the P9r as well... it was a great headunit. I would normally recommend you go active, but I like your crossovers too much!
Hey, can you bi-amp the crossovers? Run a separate channel for the tweeter and mid, but still use the passive? I think that would be the best of both worlds. It would be louder and clearer than using a 600.2 as well.

The filter passive is biamp: amp´s mid & tweeters/ amp´s woofers.
In this moments, I have 2 amps VGA 600.2 conecting in this crossovers Brax. One amp VGA 600.2 for the woofers Brax & one amp VGA 600.2 for the mid ways & tweeters ways. This is my configuration in this moment....
