creepy shit - number stations

Post by stipud »

For those that don't know what number stations are, here is the wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_stations

Now that doesn't sound all too scary on it's own... until you actually listen to the broadcasts.

I found an archive of them here (warning: not mind safe): http://irdial.hyperreal.org/the%20conet ... /disc%201/

The nature of shortwave radio means it can't penetrate the atmosphere, so it wouldn't be useful for space.

Space or not, this is still some pretty crazy sci-fi shit.

Did I mention there are 4 discs full of it? I kinda want to keep the collection in my car to fuck with people.
