shroud adds 6 inches. IT took up almost the entire area under my back window of my truck.
I asked earlier and didn't get an answer. With as big as it is(24 lbs), do you think those little plastic tabs can hold it up like that? I made extra bracing that went under my amp to help hold it up. These were just small blocks that are hidden by the shroud but it should take some of the stress off of the tabs. I also made some pieces out of mdf that secured the entire metal flange on the end, as well as the plastic tabs.

hey ttoc's....sorry for not answering sooner... I've been in my shop and I hate signing in and typing on the crack berry.
the bolts are the fattest bolt that will fit through the hole and they are secured with t nuts....It is heavy but feels pretty secure. I but foam behind it to keep the vibration down and may well end up putting a brace across the inside of the shroud. It is heavy and it is a concern...thus the monster t nuts. it was only mounted in the picks to fit the bolts and line the rack up....I have to do something with the shroud as it is going to rattle...good looking out....how did you afix the brace to the shroud

I took some felt that I cut into thin strips and used some thin adhesive(super 77) to hold in on to the area that would be in contact with the amp. The 77 is not a super hold adhesive and can always be taken off with some alcahol but I have not had a single rattle from the amp or shroud.
I think you can fit up to a 1/2" block of wood under the power strips/speaker terminals. I again lined these with felt and then screwd them into place so that the amp is partially resting on these. At that point the plastic tabs to little more then keep it from falling forward and I am sure they are fine there.
Now the only question is if you will have power supply whine.....

ok, so here is what has happened, the box sat too high...it fit but it was too much for steves ole lady, so we took the rack off and will have to figure that out....the sleeves on the bottom were gonna house the reactors on a sled with a cover....so where will they go now? there is always the roof. the box is still huge....but it is in.
You guys should have seen us trying to get it out of my shop and up the steps...hehe....not fun stuff let me tell you, but we did it and didn't ding anything.
so the autotek is most likely going on the rear door on another rack and the 900.7s in the counsole that is the next big step. As we really only have a few hours a day we just got it in....the le and new rear wiring will go in tomorrow afternoon...now I get to build the cables.
more pics of the cyc's final day before install....we redid the gaskets with two sided sticky foam...tricky but the plexi is more secure when it absolutely can't jiggle. We have done the bearings too and they are runners for sure. You can't really tell they are running in the picture but they are and hard...entire floor was vibrating and blowing everything around the storage room....been half finished for a year now...not trying to sand any mud till the whole house is to that point. My mother in law lives with us, and she has copd...can't take the dust so my house looks like this in most rooms...now I don't have the cash to finish what is going so I may die here with unfinished walls.....another post there I guess.
Hey theres a pic of steve cleaning the plexi and I am throwing in a few pics of some of the stash...just for shits and giggles
This has taken awhile to get together...as other issues keep cropping up in my life and with equipment. But this was the worst of it....
How I always end up centered in steves pics I don't know but I've seen way to much of me here....one of these days I'll get to take pics of steve looking bewildered and focused on other shit...
I've got more pics to put up to of stuff to....will get to it asap

That settles it. They say 19" isn't big enough. How about 42"?????
I'm going to get another cable to plug into the side of the TV.
WILL THAT BE BIG ENOUGH?
Great work. Wish I could be there to help and hear it.

OK.....WOWWWWWW is all I have to say.....
we powered up the Cyclones with the Octane LE....
And Mannnnnn....it is AMAZING!!!!!
It did WAYyyyyYyYYYYY Better than I everrrrr thought. These cyclones sound FANTASTIC.....
So currently the ONLY things running, are two cyclones, and a Ti 5 set....the 9's are not running and the DD9512 is not running.
MY GODDDDDD I have to say if you've NEVERRRRR heard a CLEAN Cyclone....these are the CLEANEST. bearings and magnet all clean.
I've heard cleaned clones...But if the bearings are bad or going out....a magnet thats cleaned is only half the battle. So you cyclone guys that have them cleaned....may not be getting clean cyclones STILL...
Believe me....I've seen a few now...and then the work that Chris put into these.....OMG.....
NOOO motor noise is heard in the Cab, at any volume with those cyclones just pounding! You PDX guys that want to check it out....please....let me know! PM me...and we'll get together.
But I tell you....these clones....NEVER SOUNDED BETTER.
