depends....what kind of power would they be getting
i always use the car and engine analogy
think of your amp/deck is the motor and the speaker as the car
right now you have civic with with a civic engine
if you put in the rsd's, its like taking your civic engine and putting it in a mustang. the mustang has more potential but the civic engine just isnt cutting it. it needs a mustang engine
so if you have a stock deck, the rsd's wont be getting enough power to make a difference
if you have a amp or even a good aftermarket deck the rsds will really shine

lol, it sure was. however its so refreshing to see someone SEARCH on a fourm and post in a thread already going that has a similer topic!Stryker wrote:holy thread revival!!!
packers fan, yep that qx is plenty to rock those rsd's. it wouldn't really be worth swamping out the kicker though. the difference is pretty negligible. if you were going to spend more money, i would say upgrading the deck is the next best step for you. the cleaner signal will really help the amp

both.
the active high pass crossover on your amp is cutting out very low notes that your speakers dont like to play.
the passive crossover that came with them separates high notes for your tweeter and lower notes for your mid
