Now the REALLY hard part is finding these parts, I hope Jim Slusher can help me out.

This thread can be deleted or locked if Tom chooses to.
Look at this Vin.....it was completely destoyed, no sides at all....now it just needs to be sanded and painted 8)

The repaired connector is more durable than the original

Stewart wrote:Guys,
sorry to hear about this. Give us a call on Tuesday- maybe we can work out a deal to fix your amps. Just so you know, Roland still does repair work for us. Flat repair rates are still reasonable, so just give Jim Slusher a call and let's see if we can get your units broken connector fixed.

BTW, the power supplies in the amplifiers are more than adequate for the design (and the time they were built). We can certainly check these specific units to see if the power supplies need repair.

Best,
Stewart Millager
Thanks for the info Stewart, are the parts still available? I epoxied the terminals back together, but I would guess with all the torque applied when tightening and loosening the set screws will eventually cause the terminals to fail again.

I will call in on Monday, please let me know what Jim Slusher's ext is.
I think they are closed on Monday....Memorial Day...

And as per Stewart he says call Tuesday as well.

Good luck vin! And hope that the situation gets resolved. AT LEASTTTT he gave you a refund....Thats better than nothing.

Oh and Tom is indisposed this weekend...not sure if he'll make it to check the forums.

Anyway long story short....glad someeee things are going your way here on this problem.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but FU*K more problems! That M100 that he fixed doesnt even work. When Its hooked up all it makes is pop on/off noises but no sound :( At this point I've pretty much given up on my M amps    I'll pop open the amps tomorrow to see if the speaker wires came loose (I highly doubt both could come loose though).

Once you find out what the issue is, I would call them asap.
