I used to have one of the transforming jets. Been a LONG time too.

The closest thing I have now is an original Transformers Jetfire which is an exact version of the robotech jets, just smaller.

I just youtubed robotech, they have all in one sitting the entire season 1 there.

The original(Super Dimensional Fortress Macross) is more fulfilling, they cut a lot out of Robotech.

BTW smgreen20, you should look at ebay on that. Original Jetfires in good condition with UN Spacy logos are worth $$$$$$

There's just something undeniably, objectively awesome about battle mechs, isn't there? :D

I never did watch macross, because I was a bit too young at the time, but I did have all the stat books, would play mechs in the playground, and drew them during class. I had a lot of FOB friends

Mechwarrior 2 was about the pinnacle of my obsession however.

Mines not in perfect shape. Decals are all there and everything works, the only bad thing is one of the arms came off (screw came out) and I have yet to find (haven't tried hard at all really) a screw to fit, but it's the space and angle of getting the screw back in is the problem. And I don't have all of it's accessories. Jetfire was also one of my favorites and when I saw it at a garage sale 4 yrs ago for $3.00 I snagged it up.

I loved the show. Made my jet out of lego's! Was awesome, but not the toughest toy.

It's funny, even non-Robotech fans I know think Jetfire was one of the coolest Transformers, and he was only in like 5 episodes total.
