Sneak Peek
am I the only one that thinks it looks a little too simple? As though there is still something missing? Not sure what, but it just seems a little too plain and boring. It doesn't really wow me.........
Have you also considered that it will be hard to flush mount those with the end caps shapped the way they are? From an installer point I like straight edges so that if I want to hide the wires I can do so with out too much trouble, and those looke like too much trouble.
I like the quote, good to see a little humor in it. Maybe something about size not mattering since they are soo small...

So far all we have really seen is the entry level (simple = more affordable)ttocs wrote:am I the only one that thinks it looks a little too simple? As though there is still something missing? Not sure what, but it just seems a little too plain and boring. It doesn't really wow me.........
& an empty chassis for a very tiny 1kw amp (small size = no room for fancyness)
I think Morgan is holding back on the real cool shit to come, which I dont blame him.
I will spill a little more beans as CES is rapidly approaching.
There are three amp lines:
R Series: "Bread and butter" line. Its kinda a blend of entry to mid line amplifiers with more complete feature set. 1000, 500 and 250 watt monoblocks. 50 x 4 and 75 x 4 four channels.
S Series: S is for small. Two amps 50 x 4 and 1000 x 1 in really small footprint for an affordable price. This is amp you see on top of the R series. Again, complete feature set for easy OEM integration or aftermarket installs.
Ti Series: Four amps. 100 x 4, 125 x 4, 1500 x 1 and 2500 x 1. Big power, excellent SQ, overbuilt, all the goodies you come to expect from higher end PG amp.
The series will just use letters, its back to basics, old school.
Website will be updated after CES...

This is what I am excited for. I would love to have the 1500 x 1 and the 125 x 4. That would be perfect.MW3 wrote: Ti Series: Four amps. 100 x 4, 125 x 4, 1500 x 1 and 2500 x 1. Big power, excellent SQ, overbuilt, all the goodies you come to expect from higher end PG amp.

Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.
Hands down the forum's most ignorant member...
Don't even know what Ohm's law is...

My only hope is for entry level products that rewrite the definition of entry level. Too many companies have forgotten where a LOT of their money comes from. I'd like to see entry/mid level components/subs that make the smaller guys work that much harder to make products better. Necessity is the mother of all invention. If that's true, then make some products that make the other guys start inventing again.
That said, how about an LE amp that just oozes pure sex. I'm talking hand polished heatsink and case, piano black gloss board, plexi to see the guts, all top shelf components, etc. Make it look better than ANYTHING else on the market. Make it a VERY, VERY limited amp.
Name it The 10. Make it so nice that every person who sees one will say "Damn, I want one of those".
Just my 2 cents.

So does that mean the 50 x 4 is called an S400.4 Where the 1000 x 1 is names 1000.1?MW3 wrote:

I only ask because I am trying to figure out the naming scheme vs the power output. Like the MS275 (2 x 75) as an example - Whats the significance behind the 400.4? Max power @ 2ohms x 4 channels?

I agree with you, I really wanted the gold pcb, with white heatsinks, just like soundstream did with their new amps...plain and simple
