Are these the caps I need for my M44?
Are these the caps I need for my M44?
I have been doing a lot of research on getting my caps replaced in my M44 and want to make sure I get the right ones.
Rail caps ones: (2 of these)

Power supply ones: (4 of these)
http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch ... ND&Site=US
I just want to make sure that these are the ones that are being used and you guys don't have any better ones to replace them with. I am also looking for two speeker tremials for my M44. White in color.
Thanks
Justind

the PS ones look spot on but i would be happier with 105c items on the rail caps..

i'm looking for some too for my m100's, if you saw the state of them you wouldn't fit 85c ones, they have melted with heat!!

Even though I try to only use 105C caps as well, technically if 85C caps are melting the amp is not installed properly, or adjusted properly. Heat is the enemy of these amps, and when they are running right and properly adjusted, they should not get too hot to touch. But, PG did make all those M series fan shrouds for a reason!

Get 105c caps which are of less capacitance. So long as they are the highest capacitance you can physically fit, the same voltage, and 105c, you will be fine.

This cap may work for the M44...

Take some measurements of the ones you have now. These are 35mm x 35mm, with 10mm lead spacing, 35V, 105C, and 15,000uF.

You need to use the same voltage ones, but can use different UFk2f-gold wrote:Eric, so diff V can be used as well other than diff uF.Eric D wrote:This cap may work for the M44...
