i havent tryed any of their coax or component speakers but i do have two ls 15 sub's and they do sound good but the thing with critical mass is they do have a very high price tag. those coax's your thinking about are $449.00 on ebay i just think that's insainly over priced for that price you could get some very good component speaker's that would sound better. they are just to unrealistic on their price's im not saying the quality isnt there it's just that your paying 3 to 4 time's more for what you getting.

I'm just looking for a good 4 inch that will take some power and sound good with out smelling like burned voice coil and toasting itself. They will be crossed at 400HZ high pass and 75-100 watts rms.

if that's what your looking for then im sure they should scream but i would not go by the watt rating's of anyone but critcal mass because some people list the peak wattage as rms and you really need to be spot on when it comes to rms ratings. and if your thinking of running them off an oldschool phoenix gold amp they are all at least 20% underated so that's another thing to consider.

I've heard the CDT Audio CL-42 set (considering this set myself) and they sound amazing with better spec's than the overpriced Critical Mass stuff :hurr: . Below is the link to their site and I know Woofersetc.com sells them and they're an Authorized Internet Retailer so there's no worries about warranty stuff.

dang believe it or not i just about recommended that a 275 would be a good amp to use on them the only problem you would have then is keeping the peace with you neibors because it would be screaming loud.

CMASS speakers are great a bit over priced.. I did enjoy a UL12 for awhilw but it demanded more power than the 1000w rms I had.
