i would say go for it...
i have two 12w6'sv2's and love them to death... mike tried pulling them from my mits a couple times throughout the last couple few years and nothing doing!
sealed with the w6's i found to [me] to be the best sound...
s-10 cab, perhaps a little tight, but if they can go i would do it...

i can vouch for my single 12w6v2!!!
i have three boxesd for it. 1) sealed 2) ported 3) spl (3.5 cu ft net port =30sq in by ~6" deep. over 3.8 cu ft total
boxes 1 and 2 are awesome. i prefer number 2. the spl box sounds like donky shit but will rattle the wipers quite well in a ford expedition
and go deeper than ron jeremy doing so!
