I installed the VRX yesterday and took it to my JATC training center to set the gains with the o-scope. Everything dialed in nicely but it just isn't enough power for my components. The 3-way Eurosports I'm running along with the upstage kit with it's seperate huge crossovers eats up a grip of power. I had previously installed a Soundstream Reference amp and that was the closest thing I got to making these babies sing. Don't get me wrong, the build quality of these VRX amps is some of the best I've EVER seen. The amp literally weighs a friggin ton. very solidly built and beautiful to look at. The sound is very simlar to the Sinfoni 90.2x... Very clear midrange and very realistic cymbals and drums. all around a beautiful amplifier to listen to. I am in search of 200-250 watts rms per side so I regret to say that this amp is up for sale. I paid $365 total for it and will sell for the same price to my PG phorum peoples. Gift of course to avoid getting jacked by paypal. This price includes shipping to the lower 48 states. If I had a 2-way set this would drive them to perfection. I love the way the Audison logo glows in the night. let me know if anyone here is interested in this fine piece of equipment.

if you are running the x-overs on the componants they are probably eating the majority of power, you can always go active.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Thats something i considered but I dont have enough roomnor enough amps to go active. i could use the m25 for the teets and the audison for the mids but there lies the problem... nothing for midbass. and i dont have the room for another amp on top of that. and the drz will run active 3way perfectly.

I just realized that I have this o-scope. It's a lot more portable than the big clunky thing I used previously. I'll use this to set my gains on the Genesis on Saturday. Check it out.
