Xenon amps @ 18v

has anyone ever tried this or could confirm that they are happy running at higher voltage.

I have a couple of SPL nuts who are bugging me to find out , this is on a 1200.1

hmm..the xenon has an unregulated power supply, so i would guess that more voltage in would still mean more wattage out even at 18v..i could be wrong, tho...i suppose there could be a ceiling on the amps total power producing capability despite technically being unregulated...lol can anyone clear this one up for us?

I wouldn't be surprised if they could handle 16v, but I am guessing 18 is too much. Not sure though.
