for phasing you will need to do alot of shifting from left to right, front to back, ect. If you have a woofer that is out of phase it is easy to notice as bass will be decreased when the sound is centered, and get louder when only one speaker is playing.

As he said it is alot of time with your eyes closed. Try and see where the music is comming from and what changes do what.

i use 2 dpdt switches wired up so i can switch the phase while listening,this saves a pot load of time and you can tell the difference right away and switch back and forth without having to stop and swap wires and try to remember what it sounded like.

With the DRZ I can change the phase of the speakers from the deck itself. I heard that I can switch the phase of each individual speaker from the deck which would really come in handy. I'm going to read the manual.
