Actual power ratings for zx450?

Post by cheesehead2 »

I have heard that the zx line is under rated. If this is true has anyone benched the zx450's to get true power ratings?

Just wondering! :)

Well I am contemplating running a pair of zx450's (one per side) for my H-Audio AR3K's (full range mid) and AR6K's (mid bass). I know they will handle them fine (more than enough). But I am currently running a pair of Kenwood KAC X4r's (300x2 bridged).

So I just wanted to get some idea of the actual power the zx450's will be putting out before I make any changes.

I am not 100% happy with the sound of the Kenwoods. They seem a little sterile to me. I'm hoping to get a more natural/realistic sound from the zx's if possible. 8)
