I put my 2 wks in this morning and what was I told in response? Not to slack any from now til then and that a few people gave told him (my boss) that I've been standing around doing nothing and sacking off for the last month. That pissed me off. Yea, I'm not out there busting my ass because a 10 yr old could do this job, but It's such an easy job that I'm bored with it, but I'm not slacking off! I'm not going to point fingers but there's a certain somebody that's in the office all the time, but he's fine!!? Wtf?! So, I'm trying not to burn any bridges, but that makes it hard not to.

Rant over for now.

hmmm, with a reaction like that and a job already lined up I would probably have a hard time biting my tongue or showing them what slacking really is while biting my tongue...

That's so incredibly lame of him to email/complain to the owner like that. What a bitch.

The best time to look for a job is when you already have one. Suck it up and keep looking for another job surreptitiously. Success is the best revenge. Good luck in your search.

My last job was great in that it was only 14 days a month, if I didn't take vacation or call in... it was a 12 hr shift but the long weekend were soooooo worth it...

The weekend deal sounds good, but as it is now that's the only time I have with my family. Plus my in laws live 125 miles away. I'd never get to see them either, plus most concerts I go to fall on the weekends.

So I took the job and had an interview last Friday for the open Maintenance position, I need some prayers that I get it. I would enjoy it more plus the $3.00 more per hour wouldn't hurt.

I do have the qualifications for it, but I'm not the only one bidding on it.
